Writing partners Becky and Robin approached me about setting a blog for them. They had been writing together for years, but most of that existed offline (on paper, even). In addition, they needed a site that would be easy to work with, even with WordPress.
Their writing has a slightly dreamy, deserted-section-of-the-library feeling, so we focused on that. I sketched several ideas that would work, and once we narrowed it down more, we started looking for a theme that got us most of the way there. We settled on Syntax, which was a great starting off point, to which I added their custom fonts and banners. I also created a handbook for them to help navigate the backend of the site.
In the year since we launched their site, they have been publishing their work consistently and are very happy with the way the site is functioning.
